Projects on the whole were weak as few were able to successfully use the visual, that is graphics and images, to convey some of the complexities of the word being addressed. One group was able to collaborate and obviously have interesting discussions around their chosen words, and this came through in their presentation in terms of the depth uncovered and relationships drawn between words. There were however a number of individual students who engaged critically and with enthusiasm their words, and were able to present a combination of graphic and descriptive representations of their investigations. Here the historical and contemporary urban relevance of the word managed to come through repetitive A4 blocks pinned to the walls.
